This is a version of the Bandwagon technique. It specifically says that "Everyone" can do smoking. Then they go on to say that cigarettes are cool and a pleasure to smoke. It also says that you can afford to do this extra smokes, and that it means that you can have more smoking for your money. This is very clever because everyone is affected by money.
This ad is from neatorama.com.This advertisement is using the repetition technique. They say Coca-Cola 3 times in the advertisement, then it has bottles that say Coca-Cola. I believe that repetition is used to make the products name stick in your head all the time, so that when you go to the store and see Coca-Cola, you know what that is and will probably buy some.
This photo is from hollywiseagideas.wordpress.comJenny Craig is dieting program that uses famous people such as Kirstie Alley as a spokesperson. This is the testimonial technique. The testimonial technique is used because it basically says, "Hey, the stars use this product, you should too." This is because we, the regular people want to be like the stars, so in some strange way we think that we need to diet like them to be like them.

Game, Set, Match...
This is totally like me. I am usually reading at least 3 books at one time for fun and then some more books that are assigned to me. I absolutely love to read! I obtained this image from artsjournal.com.

I chose this picture because I have been dancing since I was four, and also because I thought it was adorable. This picture is actually titled "Reluctant Dancer", and it is from art.com.I Love You, Scooby-Doo!
Scooby-Doo was my favorite TV cartoon when I was younger. It is still an awesome show. This picture is from thenullsetwordpress.com.

Hey there, I'm Erin. How are you? You're fine? That's nice. So I just started this blog for my English class, and I am suppose to tell you a little about myself. I am in high school. I am a captain on the school dance team, and I play tennis in the spring. I love to read all the time, and I also sing all the time. So I will continue telling you about myself later!
Talk to you later,
Erin
